As a huge Weezer fan, I believe that this is their best album. I’m not lying. I know you all know Weezer for the “Blue Album” and “Green Album”, but it’s still good. Literally, Paramore did the same thing with “After Laughter”. A completely different and poppy album. Both albums are catchy, fun, and just really cool. It’s funny people are calling Weezer sell-outs over this. Literally all things change and all people will go through new phases and new paths. Weezer just happened to go down the pop rock kind of path for a brief amount of time. It doesn’t mean they’re sell outs. All these punk and hard rock bands are changing their sounds and exploring new paths and there’s nothing wrong with it. Fall Out Boy did it. Panic! At The Disco did it (and “Pray For The Wicked” was a huge success. It’s literally so different from “A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out” but no one cared. It was still a good album). Paramore (like I said earlier) did it. Now Weezer does it and y’all act like they committed a crime. Seriously… Calm down! Anyways… I can see why “Can’t Knock The Hustle” can draw people away from the album, but you can’t ignore the bright sides of the album. Songs like “Living in L.A.”, “High as a Kite”, and “I’m Just Being Honest” are all great. They’re poppy but not too poppy, they still stay true to being a rock band, and they’re also really catchy and are very well written. Almost there opposite of “Cant Knock The Hustle”.

Yikes! This is a terrible album. Been through it half a dozen times and just nothing here. Took a risk with a $6.99 purchase on iTunes and wish I could get my money back.
  • This is too hard to see

I cannot watch anymore good rock bands sell out, when will these artists understand that it is better to not sell out.
  • Don’t listen to the haters
