This song puts to words that feeling we all have that we have a hard time describing. Between the lyrics and the music this piece is a work of art. Its the perfect example of what music should be.

I love this song. To the ear alone this song sounds fantastic (a sense of awe washes over me, I get goosebumps), but the beauty of this song does not stop at its auditory aesthetic. Everything from the music to the lyrics to the tone of voice could not feel more perfect. The lyrics of "Sorrow" intensely portray feelings of sadness, and paired with string instruments, the theme is established very thouroughly. One of my favorite songs of all time... thank you so much Ryan!!

When I first heard this song back in Aug I felt as if he was talking about and living with me through my personal struggles at that point in time. This song means a great deal to me. This tune helped me turn my mindset around. The lyrics I felt so deeply and it gave me hope through my struggles. Truly a timeless masterpiece in my opinion. God bless sleeping at last

A breathtaking and rich symphony, as always. I'm moving away from my home to a totally new place in two days, leaving all I've even known and all those I've ever loved, and I couldn't find the words to express my sorrow. Of course, Ryan spoke for me, again. This song (and many dozens of others from Atlas 1&2) speak to the soul and comfort a broken heart. I read that he doesn't release a song unless he feels goosebumps at least once while working on it, and so I am never surprised when those chills permeate through time and space to race through anyone who will listen. A truly human artist painting truly human music.
