I've been a fan of Styx since I was a teen in the mid 70s and have seen them ooodles of times ... but I admit I was skeptical ... for about 10 seconds!
Never thought Styx could pull off doing a good job at covering Blind Faith, and they didn't ... they were *amazing* !! :))
Tommy Shaw is hitting the falsetto in a big way ~ kudos there!! And the arrangement and guitar work is really beautiful.
Made an old Styx fan very happy! :D
Can't Find My Way Home
By SJ Michigan
Saw my first Styx concert at age 48 and loved this song! The band sounds great...can't wait to see them again...had a fun time at the show.
Don't try to compare this w the BF original; apples & oranges. This is an amazing interpretation in its own right. Tommy Shaw brings the vocal to the forefront with a beautiful falsetto & some *really* nice acoustic guitar work. My new fave Styx tune, even tho it is a cover of a classic! ; ) (just wish it hadn't taken me so long to find it!) Still love Styx some 35 yrs after first seeing them! :))
Eric Clapton owns this song on the live album but Tommy does a good job. Yeah get some gd Styx videos in here!
Can't find my way home
iTunes, what's missing here? Three (3) measly videos were all you could get your hands on? How about all those great and near-great Styx videos from the late 70's and early 80's? Come on...grab whoever's in charge of aquisitions and get the subscribers what they want!!!
Not the same without Dennis. Loose the face, loose the band.
I Love Styx, give us more
It is a good song and video, any Styx or Tommy Shaw fan will enjoy it, we just need more Styx videos to chose from, I would probably buy them all. Come on itunes give me something to buy.
Tommy and Styx are better than ever!
Enough of that Dennis guy! If he was still involved, Styx would not be touring like they do now and sounding better than ever! I have seen them live five times in the last few years and Styx puts on a great show. Tommy's voice just keeps getting better.
Tommy, Tommy, Tommy
He still has that voice? What happened to music? If your lead singer can't sing, don't form a band. Take a que from Tommy Shaw and Styx. Still around after all these years because he can still sing and the band has talent.
Viva La Dennis
Dennis DeYoungs, One Hundred Years from Now album sounds more like a STYX album than anything Styx has put out since his departure. HE should have been able to retain the band name and let the others form their own new band which has lost the soul of Styx.
