This is just a beautiful set of music. It's very dynamic and the fiddle, care of Win, is fantastic!! I aggree that it get's a wee bit too overdubbed, and classical at times but it carries over none the less. I would prefer to hear Win's playing in a more raw fashion. That being said, it all works beautifully together and this pairing has incredible chemistry. Mick's voice is the Celtic answer to James Taylor. It's just velvet to the ear. I purchased the albulm and find it so inspirational as a woman fiddler myself.

This music is plain beautiful. When I hear this particular arrangement of Bob Dylan's "To Make You Feel My Love", I just want to cry and sigh with peace, it is perhaps the best recording I've ever heard of the song. The whole album is a winner from start to finish and will make you fall in love with music all over again (I'm Serious!!!!). I really enjoy this music selection because it has some really motivating and energizing songs like Jug of Punch Set and the Ballygar Jigs along with more relaxing and emotionally stirring tunes such as After the Gold Rush and To Make you Feel my Love. Highly recommend to anyone is fond of the irish/celtic genre.
