Ms. Dawn's voice delivers a commiserative message to all those who have an aching heart and comforts their suffering. It is not often you find music so raw and honest. How I Knew Her is an emotional look into the artist soul, a rare privilege that cannot be missed.

Saw her show in Tahoe, opening for Ben Folds Five. Had never heard of Nataly. Loved her music, bought the CD that night. Can't stop listening to it. Will be coming to see her in Chapel Hill in a few weeks. LOVE it.
  • Poignant.

Enthralled from the opening beat of 'Araceli' to the end- what a wonderful ballad; I'll have more of that. As a feminist (while a male I am) 'Why Did You Marry' is a brilliant commentary. Also having struggled through a religious transition 'Still a Believer' is a identifiable and funny. Can't wait until I have someone to sing 'I Just Wanted You to Get Old' to and with.

…I'd have been excited but it's release know that I do know about it, and heard an interview with Nataly Dawn on NPR on Saturday evening. The songwriting, vocals, musicians just blew me away on every track. It's early in the year, but this will likely be my favorite album of 2013, top five for certain. Thank You Nataly and Jack!

Sure wish the kickstarter backers were honored more. They did foot the bill. Paid 3 times the album price too.
  • Unoriginal crap for the hipsters >:(

How much of this stupid garbage do we already have plaguing the world? It's so formulaic. Have some girl sing softly and play an acoustic guitar or a ukulele. It caters to the hipster crowd and they see it as unique and different, but it's really the same exact stuff that they already listen to. This style of music was unique until the hipsters came and over populated it. It's really funny how indie is no longer a statement about your music, it's now a genre and it shouldn't be that way. Indie is supposed to mean INDEPENDENT. That is, independent from the major record labels like UMG and Sony. Now they make "indie" music too and it's bull crap. For some true indie artists, look up Strung Out, The Two Man Gentleman Band, or The Prodigy.

I Just Wanted You Go To Get Old and Still A Believer are majestic. Rich and deep - and from a creative personal space that resonates. Quite original, too.

How I knew Her is full of potent lyrics and music that shows deep thought. This album was obviously crafted carefully and the result is beautiful. The best work by nataly dawn and her comrades here.
