The reason why I think this is one of Michael Grimm's best record ever is because of how connected he is to the songs. He co-wrote all but two and they have a timeless quality to them. There is stellar playing on the record from guys like Mike Finnigan from Bonnie Raitt, Davey Fargaher from Elvis Costello, Carlos Murguia from Riki Lee Jones and the backup singers are from John Mayers band. Livin' On Faith might be Michaels best record to date. He delivers a message that is very current and uplifting. Take Me is pure fun, Moment In Time is about a childhood friend who died, and Times Like These shows a more tender side that I hadn't heard before. Michael is a true american artist and this record shows how versatile he can be.
