This album is fantastic. Once again, Bang on a Can represents all things bright and (big, beautiful, dark and scary) in the new music world. Rhythmically mind-blowing and never boring, this album hits the spot. Enjoy.

BOAC remains today's leading bandsemble giving strong performances. The program is varied with only a few duds. The Nancarrow transcription was a nice idea, but somehow failed in it's attempt to capture the spirit of the original. If I where you, I'd also delete the Glass piece. Not sure why they included it. The group has shown better taste in the past. Over all it's still a buy.-- Bz

What is this music?? Not sure what to call it, but it kicked my a##. These Can folks, or Bang folks, or whatever they're called, are monster players playing sometimes brilliant, sometimes disturbing, all the times intriguing music. Just incredible. I wonder what Matt Damon thinks of his tune? Bang on a Can? Bang on the MAN!
