This song has changed my life, I know the words by heart and when I heard the live version I started catching little differences. In the original he says three people have OD and in this is says four. It is a living piece he has carried with him, and the ways you can feel the emotion rolling off of him through the song is so beautiful it almost brings you to tears.

Te first time I ever heard this song, I cried. My whole life revolves around drugs and this song spoke about exactly what drugs do to you. Macklemore is not just an influential rapper, but his lyrics inspire others to never give up, because no matter how bad a situation is, it always gets better. Don't do drugs. It will ruin your life. This song has touched me deeply because it explains what doing drugs does to you. Bravo Mackelmore. A true masterpiece.
