I'll keep it quick - Her music is beautiful as well as current. I don't speak Spanish AT ALL, and half the songs I don't understand what she is saying. However, this disconnect does not detract from the album whatsoever. It's actually a positive in my book. Like listening to opera in your car, you can actually feel the music as supposed to getting bogged down with the lyrics. Frankly her songs in Spanish are my favorite due to this, and I would seriously suggest this to anyone. What a wonderful and talented artist, hopefully her star shall continue to rise in the future.

Do you love Adele's voice? Patsy Cline's style? Julieta Venegas' take on Latin Alternative? This album has all of this and more. Gaby's voice is incomparable, at times soulful and mournful, at times light as air. Her influences are eclectic and mostly vintage; she pulls from the musical traditions of the 30s all the way up to the 70s... but never once does she lose her contemporary relevance and edge, and never once does the music stop being all her own. A true gem of an album.
