  • Great album

This is a great album, a classic. But “Homecoming” is album only, and that is like the best song on the album besides “Stronger” so this album is so good but I wish they didn’t put “Homecoming” as album only.
  • Fantastic!

Luv myself some pre-yeezus Kanye West. The top three are good morning, big brother, and of course, flashing lights.
  • Is this a joke?

Great album. It’s unfortunate it took Kanye to kill his soul to be able. Trash now. Where’s your soul at Kanye?
  • How is this impressive?

10 years later and i'm still surprised that something like this had ever been popular or considered worth spending actual money on. Personally, I find it very hard to respect this artist or this album. I'm not impressed at all. This album, and all rap, can be boiled down to 3 things. First, the very not impressive skill of rhyming that you develop a mastery of by second grade. Second, selling a fake personna so that fans can pretend to be the same person you pretend to be. Third, unseemly and disgusting ego mania. Every single song can be boiled down to just one line: "Hey, I'm awesome." How can someone justify supporting this sort of greedy, egotistical garbage? I'm having a child soon and I pray to God that he never hears/believes in a single thing uttered on this album or any of his other albums. I realize that even negative attention is still something an egotist like Kanye West wants and i'm doing him a favor by even writing this review, but i was given this album 10 years ago and i am reviewing all the albums that i have. Admittedly, this album is not as awful as most rap, but i still can't justify keeping most of it and i'll never actually want to hear it. Led by the song Good Life, there's three 2 star songs that i was able to keep and the rest are throwaways.

Kanye doesn't your wife make enough money to help you put together better songs? This. Is. Such. A. Waste.

Actually Kanye's worst imo if you don't count watch the throne. This was Kanye trying to blend Pop and Rap, which worked mostly. But the problem is, I don't like this poppy sound. It's hard to believe that before this he dropped LR, one of the most iconic albums of all time and after he changed the world with 808s. I can't believe people like this so much. There are still a few great cuts on here, like Flashing Lights, I Wonder, etc. but overall, it doesn't move as much weight as any of his other solo releases.
