"Why Don't You Do Right?"
Just wanted to say I love this rendition of "Why Don't You Do Right".
Saw her live at the Chumash Casino near Santa Barbara. She was amazing. So happy to have this beautiful album. Smile:-)
Glad she went back with the orchestra.

Nice 'N' Easy
That is best song. Nice 'N' Easy. She performed that on the Dr. Phil Show. Amazing
Natalie-great; video... hmm
I love Natalie Cole. I have followed her career since "This Will Be." I have seen her in concert and shouted out her name. As an entertainer, I have played her songs and sung them, and my music friends and I all marvel at her absolute greatness. That said, I wish that iTunes would allow us to make comments specifically on songs and/or videos. Without seeing a link for that, I have to comment on the one video available with this album, "Walkin' My Baby Back Home." I am severely disappointed. Yes, Natalie looks great and sings great. But she is doing a duet with the shadow of what looks like a very attractive black man. This "shadow" is supposed to represent Nat King Cole? It seems bizarre. I guess there are no videos of Nat singing it, so she decided to do it with a Shadow Man? But why...? To "recapture" the magic of the original "Unforgettable" video?
Also, shots of Natalie alone in a studio, with shots of the mixing board and the level lights, plus shadows of Natalie and the "mystery man" imitating Nat (I guess), shot against a huge piece of sheet music... that's it? That's the video? Yes, Natalie's mug shots and little hand dance are cute as can be... but this does not serve this song well, doesn't do justice to Natalie, and is actually insulting to the man who did the shadow dance. I don't get it. I don't feel it was worth shooting. If you're going to do a video with Natalie Cole, especially with a period song, let's see the costumes, the dance steps, the band, the story. It may be that she was ill during this period of time, I don't know--although, if she was, she looks like a million dollars standing in the studio. And I do not mean her an ounce of disrespect as she is my favorite artist. Nonetheless, this video falls flat and I would really like my money back. I hope that iTunes doesn't think this is inappropriate. It's just sad that this video doesn't reflect the sparkle and joy of the song. I also must report that I paid a $1.99 to have this video... but somebody copied and pasted it and put it up on YouTube. That ain't right. If it's going to be free, then let it be free. If people are going to pay for it, then let everyone pay for it and have their own copy. Next time I'm checking YouTube before I buy a video from iTunes. And I suggest iTunes do the same unless they and their artists want to lose revenue (and I'm an artist, and I do not think people should be uploading iTunes videos to YouTube).
Not Quite as Unforgettable
This CD is in the same vein as "Unforgettable", but I'm not blown away because I don't think the songs themselves are as good. It's a good plus to "Unforgettable" as a background soundtrack, but I didn't find any songs that I really love.
Fantasic continuation of an "Unforgettable" experience in song.......
Elated to hear her doing what she does best especially at a time where her health is of concern I pray this is not her last recording. God Bless you Natalie.
