This album is easily my favorite album of all time, and not just because gilmour is the greatest guitarist/ musician of all time. Everything on this album, from the simple riffs to the complex intricasies you might miss the first listen are so masterfully put together, making this a great album. Short and sweet and so far away are the standout tracks to me, but every track is amazing. If floyd is your favorite band like mine is, you will love this.

This album is a classic. One of my all-time favorite songs, “There’s No Way Out of Here”.

been listening to this since it's 1978 release. Always a Floyd fan, this brought the realization of Sir Davids guitar prowess. Recently , feeling trapped in a job that brought no joy....'There's no way out of here' helped my decision to move on. Peace, Love and David Gilmour!
A Must

I figure this is what Pink Floyd would have sounded like if they were just starting out in the late 70s, rather than the 60s. It's pretty straightforward, which is cool in my opinion. Nothing fancy. Dave's vocals and guitar work are really spot on, and sounds like he did on albums like Meddle. Has a lot of jam-like quality, with some chilled instrumental tracks that are tastefully and artistically put together. If you like Floyd, then you are guaranteed to like this. Gilmour is the man.
