it would cry beautifully like Jamie! Help me thank God for this man and friggin buy this jam now! Mr Lidell's got hisself a style that just can't be pinned down! So no matter what your bag-Tecnological funk to Acid Jazz, Dusty Soul to R&B- this white boy has got somethin' 4yo azz in spades! Matta fack, he's making most a the stateside neo-soul brothers look bad! ...or even worse, IRRELEVANT! This particular song is one that has that old sound that's making Amy W. and Duffy (Don't know Duffy? Shame! Look up 'Mercy' after you buy this) so hot these days around the world! Oh and just so you know, he ain't some wanna-be American hipster, but a true enigma from the LAND of funky white boys- the UK! (what the hell do they put in those fish and chips anyway?) If you can listen to this song (or 'Multiply' or 'When I Come Back Around' or 'What's the Use' [don't 4get the remixes! I've never heard anyone use such a small Prince sample so convincingly] and not feel great at once, you'd better start writing a will. If only today's American music was like this! ...sniffle... :[

By Music Sounds Better With You!
This guy is for real. His voice is totally unique and his blended style of music just blows me away. What I love about this new song is that it's just fun. That's his style, his music is fun approachable and it makes me feel good. This song in particular puts a jump in my step. I love the subtle nuances of the background singers and the little musical touches that add to the finish and polish. You can tell this guy has a real band. This isn't something manufactured on a computer.
I've had Multiply on constant play in my iPod for nearly two years. When I play it at work, I consistently get poeple coming up asking who it is and where they can get the music. His blend of hip-hop, r&b, soul, jazz and mostly a good dose of funk blend so seamlessly. It's really nice to listen to this and be able to enjoy the words and crafstmanship of his art. Multiply is a total mix of sounds, somthing for everyone. I hope his new album is just as good.
