I heard Jaheim singing some of his cut from The Making of a Man on The Steve Harvey Radio Show. From the moment he and his background singers opened their mouths, I knew I had to buy this CD. This man can sing for real!!!!

Ok, it's obvious Jaheim has excellent vocal skills BUT I downloaded and listened to"never" and i heard "I've changed" on the radio. They sound fair but that's all. Keyshia Cole is obviously talented but on this CD she sounds like a generic R&B singer (anyone could have sang her part and the song would have been none the better). If all you like is R&B then sadly you'll love this. But if you're like me and enjoy the likes of Maroon 5, Usher, Five for fighting, Marvin Gay and the first two Norah Jones joints then you can by pass this. Based on the samples clips theres a "sameness" (not consistancy) to his songs that causes the energy to burn out by song number 4. I own his first two cd's and in like manner they each have about 3 or four songs worth listening to. The rest of the stuff never grew on me and I'm sure these wont either. I imagine his inevitable greatest hits CD will be an album worth buying. All 9 tracks. download them now and save that future money. better luck next time i guess.

The Guys got some Skill. I got "Never" and "Back Together Again." Two Good songs... i'd buy them if i liked the previews. I'll probably end up with the rest of the cd from a friend or something I wont buy it though the previews just arent catching my ears.
