This wonderful collection of songs is simply that, WONDERFUL!!!!! This was an lp that was released after Patti left the label. It features her biggest hit for the label and a number 1 R&B classic, If Only You Knew!!!!! Patti's first lp for PIR was The Spirit's In It, featuring Over The Rainbow.
  • Patti' s best solo R&B LP of all that she has done or will ever do.

Patti' s best solo R&B LP of all that she has done or will ever do. Stop! You read it here. I just had to say it again. This was recorded prior to her MCA Pop-ish years. It made a little noise on R&B radio and Epic record execs were like WTF? Hence, she had just left that label after a few disco hits. Her sales for them were just OK.This project was a one opt LP for Gamble & Huff's Philadelphia Records label. Miss LaBelle was shopping for a home. ("Tell the truh, shame the devil.") MCA finally got her and the rest is history.
  • Bobby Bee on his Number#4!!!!

Her solo debut on Philadelphia International. Every cut a hit!! Once the team of Gamble & Huff got a hold of her there was no turning back!! She's got the vocals - all she needed was writers!! Patti- the Heir -Apparent!
  • Patti is truely timeless! The Best!!
