I'm a 20 year old musician, and I cannot get enough of this man's music. Once you start it, that's all you'll listen to... He has a style that is all his own!

Exceptionally talented guy, I heard the song "a King in me" from biker boyz and had to find more music by the artist. That was my introduction to David Ryan Harris , great songs, acoustic and soulful sounds. I especially like forever more, sweetsberry, don' look down, all I need and do what you wan't. Would like to hear more music from David Ryan Harris!

"Soultice was a demo" is how David Ryan Harris describes this album and I believe that to be a proper assessment. This is a solid album for Harris who mixes a good deal of pop with his soulful sound. I would argue that he has a stronger selection not represented here on iTunes, but -Goodthing -Usedtothis -Forevermore -Don'tlookdown are among my favorites. If you enjoy his sound, I recommend checking out his Myspace where you can purchase a wider range of his collection. If his sound rings familiar it's because Harris can be often found touring with John Mayer. I think this had a major influence on the production of this album as it has a "No Room For Squares" feel to it, but like Mayer, Harris' work has matured and become more textured as his career has gone on. I hope this review was helpful and that you give David Ryan Harris a shot.
