  • Greatest

One of the greatest albums ever made, and his third best in my opinion, only behind purple rain and sign of the times.
  • This Album Changed My Life

Dirty Mind was THE brilliant turning point and sentinel event that set off the firestorm. Without it, there could have been no Controversy, 1999, Purple Rain, Around The World, Parade, Sign of the Times or LoveSexy.

I just wonder if iTunes just recently placed an explicit label on this album. It wasn't here before. None the less, this album is amazing. Rest in peace Prince.

  • The Beginning

    By San Antone
Prince’s second album was fantastic, but this album changed everything. Back in 1980 when it first came out, it was uncomfortable to listen to as no one had ever sang songs about sex like this. Even by today’s standards, it is still out there. I have never heard a song like Sister or Head before, so it was a little scary; but a classic nevertheless. This is such a funky album and his first truly classic and one that I play so often. For all you guys out there that things begin with Purple Rain are sadly missing the best period of his life. RIP Prince. You changed everything.

  • Just as Great as I remember!

I had this back in the day on a cassette or vinyl and I had to get it today. Missing the musical genius Prince my favorite. It is still a great album even 36 years later....Time flies but great music lives on. Partying Up! RIP Prince!
  • His Most Underrated Album

Only a few months after Bowie's passing, and we've lost yet another genuinely original, trailblazing artist - the troubling thing is no one worthy is lining up to replace them.
