  • A Great Introductory Album

This album doesn't have as many great tracks as some others but for the price it can't be beat. If you are looking for a good but simple album to use for your high school band or band student. If you need an album to introduce someone to the vigor and excitement of military music this is a great one. It has the classics of Stars and Stripes Forever and the Washington Post as well as a fw tracks that should have been. The album features the work of several of great military bands each which have served with distinction for many years. The military bands in this country have a long and proud history and this album is a great introduction to it. You will enjoy this album if you get it and anyone you buy it for will be happy you did.

I like using this recording. It represents the sound of a military band. We use it to check our authenticity.

Great collection of march's for Band Directors to use to demonstrate march style etc... to their students. Also exposes students to the military bands. Many of the military bands have great educational resources online as well!
