... when you can just buy The Dark Ride/Rabbit Don't Come Easy dual pack for 10.99????? Both are 7.99, so there is no point in buying them separate... but great album anyways!!!
  • The strongest album of the post-Kiske Era

The Dark Ride is Helloween's 4th best album after their first three. That may seem like a slap in the face of The Dark Ride but it is not. Helloween's first three albums all rank among the best metal albums ever made. The title track is a complex and haunting epic. Immortal is an outstanding song. Great album...must own for any casual Helloween fan.
  • Another band that stood its ground

Helloween debued when metal was metal, pop was pop and there style and subgenre is there own. They aren't power, they ain't prog, they make metal and usually do a great job at it. They don't have to thrash this band practically invented shredding and is for only those with the gall to listen. Hailing from air guitar clubs this is a band you have to hear to believe and not 3 chord wonders, like the "POP"ular groups.

In a world of cookie cutter death metal and poorly done new metal trying desperatly to be something great but failing Helloween stands out. They have a prog metal feel, but elements that are unique to this band. This albumn is another wonderful example of their musicianship and creativity. It has some excellent songs. If you are a fan of Helloween don't miss this one. If you enjoy good metal then don't miss this one either.

I love this album. It gets dark, heavy and still manages to be fun, Helloween style. "We Damn the Night". GREAT SONG!!!!
