I think some people just rate this 5 stars and call it country music just because it’s George Strait. Truth is, this is more “gulf & western” in the Jimmy Buffett theme than any true country tune I have heard.
That being said, truth is that this is a great song to kick off the preview of the album! It’s a fun and sing-along song that kicks off the summer as well! I can see myself cruising A1A with the top down. (Yes, I live about 5 miles from the beach in South Florida!).
It also proves that even at 72, George has still got it!

Never a disappointment. George Strait is THE standard for Country music. Much respect and acknowledgement for the tragic loss of managers and band mates so far in 2024. You do them proud as always and continue to release sensational music.
