Cheryl Lynn has a voice that went much too unrecognized. You hear these vocals today and think of very few who could sing with such energy. These are definitely the best of her tracks. An excellent collection to add to your tunes.

I started following Ms. Lynn's career when she appeared on the Gong Show, winning a perfect '30' from the judges. I knew then she had something special, and she proved it. Unfortunately she never achieved 'superstar' status, but IMHO other than Karen Carpenter, perhaps, she is the best all around vocal talent out there.

A great soul/"disco" singer who doesn't get the appreciation and recognition she deserves. Though she "just" sings the refrain on Georgy Porgy, she dominates. In those few short lines, she shows her incredible range-she can sing bluesy jazz with the best of them. That song is one of my top ten favorites of all times!

OMG! I love that song! It's one of my favorite old school songs ever! I grew up listening to that song for a long time singing the wrong words. XD It has a great beat to it. Got to Be Real is one of my favs too.
