The band still sounds great, and this album seems more polished than the last one. My favorite gem here is the unexpected cover of “Summer of 69’” - and I must admit, I was worried about how a Buckcherry version would sound - but I am genuinely impressed as it is almost better than the original and a new Buckcherry favorite. 5 stars.

I’ve been a fan of Buckcherry since the first album dropped in my late teens. I’ve bought every single album since. Josh’s vocals shine on those slower meaningful songs. “Feels Like Love” has that Def Leppard instrumental sound, which is really cool. Lots of good hard hitting songs, but my very favorite song on this album is “Pain”. Josh sings this song so well, I just love his vibrato. The song has so much meaning and the music production is phenomenal. I can tell Buckcherry put more into this album and went all in on it. Stevie really let’s it all out on this album with his guitar. Great sound all around. I might say, best album overall since Black Butterfly.

This band keeps rocking when most bands don’t have an identity anymore. Cheers and crank it to 11!

I still remember as an 8 year old kid when my dad put in their debut album and l got pumped up listening to Lit Up for one of the first times right before playing flag football. 16 years later and several good albums since they first started out, I’m very appreciative of Buckcherry sticking to their individual style and sound, a style and sound that makes rock and roll great. These first two songs are awesome! Look forward to hearing the rest of the album and hearing them live when they’re in town.
