It’s about time death row albums are finally available! This kicked them off with a bang… fantastic album from start to finish! Dre’s 90’s albums (producing) include the Chronic, Dogg Food, Doggystyle, Regulate, first 2 Eminem albums and all eyez on me are all amazing , have deep and soothing bass lines and hard drums, nobody has made songs like he did since the 90s (including Dre himself unfortunately)!

The Chronic is a very important album because of who and what it introduced to the world. Who? To name a few - Snoop Dogg, Daz, Kurupt, The Lady of Rage and Nate Dogg (R.I.P), and what was introduced to the world was Death Row Records and the rest is history. The Chronic is a masterpiece.

It isn't the greatest album in all of hip hop, come on now! I think the only people who would call this the greatest of all time haven't heard much hip hop yet and only know Dre, Snoop, 50, Jay, Em, and a few others, so the basics, and yeah compared to today's nonsense "music" this might sound like the greatest rap album ever but it isn't. For one thing Dre doesn't even write his own lyrics so he could never be the best rapper or "king of west coast rap" or anything like that, it's a cool album to just listen to or ride to or of course, smoke to (I iimagine), but there's no depth to it, it's literally just 16 songs that are the same. That's not to say they're bad, but when you listen to this album you're basically listening to the same song over and over or listening to one really long song. Also, I don't notice any sound quality difference? It sounds exactly the same as the version I've had for years, this looks like a ripoff so don't buy this unless you don't have the album at all already because it sounds exactly the same.
