Ku Klux Klan

I saw Bruce and his brother Charles live at the Sheridan Opera house on Thursday and thought the man had musical and songwriting talent. When the two sang one of their more popular songs, "My brother and me," the fans loved it. If you haven't heard the song, it contains this lovely little gem,
"My Great Grandpappy on my mother's side
Made a whole lot of money before he died
He was a wildcatter and in the Klan besides
And that was a matter of pride"
The paragraph is not taken out of context. I was offended and my wife and I left. Of note the lyrics violate Apple's policy on posting offensive material, "... Promote discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age..." and should be removed from the iTunes store.
I gave the album much of which I heard at the Sheridan two stars because unlike Mr. Robison I'm not big on the word "hate" which accompanies the one star rating. So take pride in that Bruce.
