Great album! A nice picture of life in New York City in the late 60's. Drugs, addiction, hookers, parties thats just the way it was for some of those who lived back then. It's hard to imagine why there would be a bad review of this album. If this isnt your style dont listen to it and especially dont review it! I would'nt review rap music for that reason, it just isnt what I like or listen to. Enough of my rant...Great album! Well worth the price!

This really is garbage. I don’t understand how some people love this band so much. I’ve tried giving it multiple listens in the past but nope. Still garbage. The worst famous band from the 60’s in my opinion. I’ll stick with Love, Seeds, Chocolate Watchband, etc.

Can’t keep up with how many times iTunes updates the VU debut album but this is a must buy for people interested in 60-70s rock. This album influenced lots like David Bowie, Iggy pop, Patti Smith and lots of modern artists. Probably my favorite.
