I’m a younger erasure fan, so I have some different preferences then some people who grew up listening to them. I really liked this album because it gave me something to listen to when I was going a dark time in my life. Yes, the songs are a bit moodier, but I live all of them. It’s not the 80’s music they became famous off of, but it’s not the 80’s anymore either.
  • Should just stick to their old stuff.

I’ve only purchased the title track (so far). Very understated production. In my opinion, the chorus of World Be Gone is as good as anything Erasure has done. It wraps you up in its arms and squeezes you.

I have been a fan since the beginning. I don’t even know what the hell this is. Seriously, how did Andy and Vince out this album together and decide it was something they wanted to release?! I am going to just delete this from my iTunes and try to forget it ever happened. Waste of money... boo.
  • Still wonderful

Like many other life long fans I have anticipated each new Erasure album since the 80’s. This album was completely disappointing to say the least. I remember some of their best songs used to stay stuck in my head for months and even to this day I will give them a listen. However this album has none of the hooks or melodies that made them one of my favorite musicians. I feel that Nightbird was the last true Erasure album and ever since it’s like somebody else is posing as them and releasing mediocre music. I hope they get back on track soon.

This is so disappointing!! Disjointed and boring! I hope they don't end an amazing and lengthy career with this lame effort.
  • Takes you away!

Erasure is dance and soul music with this album. Great music to drive to and think. Be Careful What You Wish For is one of my favorite songs.
  • Go back to a "fingers and thumbs" style

Make a chorus 2 album , or more like cowboy . This is just not the same.
  • Bad, becoming not so bad... But God, it's just so painful!

Worst album of their career, hands down. However, Matt Pop's remix of "Love You to the Sky" is among the very best remixes of their entire career. So yeah, it's been warming up on me. The tracklisting of their 2nd single from this album gives me real hope that they can truly redeem theirselves. Here's hoping!
