I'm really disappointed in the fans that were hating this album because it's "too pop". Every band changes their sound with each album. How else are they supposed to experiment and gain new fans? Sorry that Chester's demons were too poppy for you. :( R.I.P Chester. I'll keep you in my memory.

This album is so beautiful and I have yet to get through it without tearing up. Chester's battle can be heard through the lyrics and it still breaks my heart that he's gone. I loved this album when it was released and I enjoy it even more now in memory of Chester. "Who cares if one more light goes out.....well I do" Rest In Peace man 💔

As long as it's Linkin Park I'm grateful I get to listen to it. Sure this album is on the pop side but for people hating on it, how can they be expected to be creating the same kind of music from 20 years ago like the Hybrid Theory album? Change is a part of life! They obviously are not the same people they were when they wrote those songs. They could be singing about soap for all I care as long as it's Chester and Mike!
  • Are we sure this is Linkin Park?

No offense and God rest Chester but this is sad. Just listening to the 90 second previews of the songs and reading the titles of them, you can see Chester is displaying something going on inside. Sad that this will be the album they go out on. Linkin Park will always be an irreplacable favorite all time band for me. I will be leaving this one out of my collection if nothing more then to not disgrace who they once were. I refuse to remember them and Chester as the sell outs they had become, I just choose to ignore it and remember them for the greatness they brought to music and the way their music changed my life.

If you've actually listened to it and you actually don't like it, that's fine, but you don't have to hate it just because it's not heavy. I liked The Hunting Party, but it felt a bit forced. This one doesn't feel as forced. This feels like Linkin Park exploring a new territory. It is certainly pop, but it's actually a pretty dark album, almost as if Chester knew this would be his last album. Honestly, even before he died, I could tell this would end up being one of my favorites from them. Someday, I may consider my very favorite. They did not sell out. If they made an album like Hybrid Theory, like everyone wanted them to do, even though they didn't want to, that would be selling out. I can understand why some people are upset, but I think most reviewers are just mad that it isn't heavy. I thought Linkin Park's fans were better than this, but I guess not.
