Powerful, relatable, dope. Unlike a lot of pop hip hop, Rulsan does not take the easy route and this project will be timeless becasue of it. Americana relies on the raw talent of the artist, not trap beats and autotune. These guys understand the power of what art can do and be for people. This is that life-changing music. Great hip hop, writing is profound, this is for people who want and need more out of music than just noise. He's vulnerable, he challenges my perspective—art the way it should be.

I gave it a five star not because every verse was the best verse I've ever heard but because I felt his heart. Ruslan I don't know your real name whether it's Ruslan or not felt like u expressed a big piece of who you are. You showed me the type of artist u decide to be with this album not say that this album is in a box everything you want to do in music but I feel that it is a sound that u feel is apart of who u are at your core. The beats were above exceptional in my mind they weren't over eccentric and weren't to simple. Tho some felt mainstream u explained the reasoning behind that whether you realized it or not. I look at an album as a sermon u don't realize the impact your message had until you see the effect it had on peoples lives. Thank you for this project and if u want to go further into what I believe was a great album by a fan of music standards I would love to. I'd love to begin a relationship and speak to someone like you. Not one of those crazed out fans but rather someone that creates his own art in a different way. I speak to young people in a youth group named the redefined. The redefined is a redefined church experience. Our goal is to redefine the way people look at church. We incorporate hip-hop with young and upcoming rappers and more season rappers instead of a band and an acoustic guitar (not saying anything is wrong with that) we have people that want to relate to the kids that don't normally go to church. The way we do church is different from anything people have ever seen we take criticism just as kingdream and the dream junkies took after soul Rebel in particular. I would just like to exchange some thoughts and ideas. Just want to speak one brother to another. Nothing crazy not asking you to come fly across the country just want to meet the man behind the dope beats and relatable bars.

I know you are only used to hearing hooks labeled as hip-hop. This here.... What I hear... Is a blast from the past. Real thought going into the Art. Lyrics that represent me, us and whats going on. Music that is hitting on all sides. My man Ruslan opened up on this one and needs to be talked about. Them Dream Junkies aint playing. I am an "Ol hip hop head"here, just wanting to say thank you for sharing this gift with us Ruslan. Well Done Brother ! Scott Brown

I didn't really get hip to the dream junkies until John Givez Four Seasons project. Ever since then I have supported the dream junkies with buying their albums, including Ruslan's more recent project Do For One. However, this project sounds like Ruslan firing on all cylinders on both lyricism and trying new things with his voice -> see "Love for you". This project (I would say) is better than Do For One. Better production, stronger lyricism, introspective topics discussed...simply put if you don't buy this album, You are going to wish that you did. Awesome project by Ruslan!

I would give this album 4.5 stars, but I can't so I rounded up for you Ruslan:P This album is special. The greatest thing about it is how brutally clear it is about it's story telling. From the intro to the end Ruslan takes you along a journey of his life and helps you to understand himself a little bit better. The beat selection is dope and his flow is unapologetic about it's uniqueness. This is my first album I've bought from Ruslan, and I'm glad I did. You gained a fan for life. PLEASE COME TO ATLANTA.

A great release with lyrical stylings that provide a breath of fresh air to hip hop delivered without an explicit label. Big ups to this brother from another mother.
