Soild album, but most all of the songs could stand to have a minute or two cut out - mostly chorus repetitions. "Where the Wild Wind Blows" is worth the price of admission all on its own; it's not quite "Journeyman" beautiful, but it's every bit as poetic. "Satellite 15" is still, I think, the weirdest intro to a song and easily the weirdest thing Maiden has ever put on an album (even counting the backwards nonsense that precedes "Still Life," which was more of a joke than anything else). I don't know that it all works, but I'm glad that Maiden is always willing to try something new. I'd be disappointed if every album was "Number of the Beast" or "Powerslave."
