Sad more people couldn't hear it if it got to be in the movie. Sam Smith's song is a generic fart that they only picked because his popularity at the time.
  • The Bond folks blew it

Stunning arrangements, smooth vocals and a true bond sound (Radiohead) style. I am so thankful they released this song. Shame on the ppl who chose Sam Smith's attempt over this work of art.

His dry vocals lately sound ridiculous. More reverb please! You sound constipated

This song deserves the Oscar rather than Sam's song for the movie Spectre. So much better!
  • Magnificent!

The James Bond people made a huge mistake not using this song for the opening. Sam Smith's song was good, but this is excellence!
  • So glad they released this

I mean I had the soundcloud download, but it's nice not having to switch between apps, makes a great first track for "moon shaped pool."

One of their greatest pieces of music... Love the choppy polyrhythms... Love the delicious string arrangement... Love the Billie Holiday worthy melody... Thanks Radiohead! You are vital...
  • At a loss...

As to why one would choose the Sam Smith song over this for a Bond film is beyond me. The production on this piece is so well aligned with a Bond film, especially when one harkens back to the days of John Barry and those grandiose arrangements. And if one were to remove the Bond aspect of the equation, well this is certainly one of the best singles from Radiohead in years.
