You a newbie?
If you are just discovering JJ or have 3-4 of his albums, this is the collection you need. Does it have all the cuts that you really need? No, but for a first timer or one with a few lp's this is all you need. Fabulous collection which is hard to find today. Buy it and discover this fabulous artist.

By faith in faith
I don't see an itunes price on here, but I probably try to get this in a store with the full 50 songs whatever the price difference is. A friend gave me this CD as a gift and it was the very first JJ Cale I ever listened to. He's the best, that's all there is to it. His sound isn't quite as gritty or as dark in color as I usually go for in this type of music - but it works. All the songs are full of authority. Whatever the price is, if you like Clapton, the Stones, the Band, Muddy Waters, etc. - this album is worth it. Highlights for me are Crazy Mama, Cajun Moon, Anyway the Wind Blows and Sensitive Kind, but this version appears to be missing the delightfully bawdy Humdinger and Closer To You - you gotta have those.
A GREAT COMPILATION
Most of his best cuts are here except for Call the Doctor and anything else off of Naturally that isn't included. Sensitive Kind is one of his greatest unknown gems.
J.J. Cale: Any Way The Wind Blows - The Anthology
If you are a JJ Cale fan, then this is the best compilation of his music out there. Not one song was left behind. This beats any greatest hits by far. Purchase this music and it's all you need.
