Reviews

  • Just a Beat Box

Sadly, no real sign of instruments being played. This is just a beat box with some false piano layered in from time to time. Been a big fan until this one. Not good.
  • Best GGD’s music yet!

Awesome album, one song after another! Definitely like a fine wine...even better with age.

Been an admirer or GGD for 25 years and they are just gold. So gifted in songwriting, instruments and being true to who they are. This album is fire. Rzeznik and Takac are brilliant and one of the few truly talented artists that write their own stuff and smash it

We need a new album! Best of all time, especially over and over.

Goo Goo Dolls haven't put a decent record since 1998. I wish they would go back to Johnny and Robby taking turns singing. I am huge fan of their albums from 1987-95.

I’ve always liked the goo goo dolls, but this album made me love them. I can simply put it on shuffle and be satisfied, I give it 5 stars and 2 things up. Especially love the song flood and boxes.
  • “Not the same” ...

I have always loved Goo Goo Dolls. My first album of theirs was “Dizzy up the Girl” back in 98’. I used to listen and ponder and reflect on their lyrics. I remember thinking it was so easy to feel their music and connect to the heart of their message. Their sound and style helped me through some heavy emotional times. That being said ... this album is just ( NOT THE SAME ) Goo Goo Dolls of old! There are maybe 2 songs on this recent project which capture the magic of the past. Slightly disappointed 😕
  • I love it! Worth buying the whole album!

I have been a fan for years, the lyrics are amazing and they get you right in the feels if you think about them. I highly recommend it!
  • Ok, but it's more of a John R. solo album

Whomever mixed this did a bad job. Mixed much of the band out in favor of just John's voice. It's a whole group so hopefully next time we will be able to hear them all like we used to.
