Look, any fan of West Siiiiide Hip Hop knows Quik is a legend. From "Tonyte" to "50 Ways" it's obvious the man, like the rest of us, is on a journey. You will appreciate his honesty and admire his talent. Don't sleep on this album. I agree, it is some of his best work. Quiksta, keep doing it. The Underground knows what's up.

Under Tha Influence is my favorite of Quik's records and for me that's saying quite a bit. I love Quik's beats and vocal style and have rarely found a work I did not like. Every one though is a bit similar. Until Under Tha Influence that could be by nobody but Quik, yet which has a spark of newness about it that absolutely mesmorizes me. There is not a track on it that I would not rate as 5 stars and I can't take it out of my player even after almost 4 years. HIGHLY recommended.

Quik been puting it down for years. More often than people know. As a matter of fact Quik is TOP 2 producers in the rap game, but wait he does more than rap. This dude is voice box pro taught by Rodger himself. Funk In Peace!! This whole ablum is bomb nad if you ever lost anyone 50 Ways will hit home.
